Sue, Olivia, and Katie

Jennings Farm Livery Yard was started by Susan Wrennall nearly 40 years ago. Sue with her daughters Olivia and Katie work full time with the horses. They are passionate and professional riders and trainers as well as hands-on yard managers, ensuring personally the welfare of your horse.

Sue has been riding since birth; she has broken and schooled horses and ponies and helped her younger friends with their own ponies from her early teens. She transformed Jennings from her fathers working farm to a Livery yard aged just 18. Jennings has been a success ever since.

Accolades

Susan has competed successfully up to Novice Level eventing; Newcomers, Foxhunters and Small Open Showjumping; and national Elementary Dressage. She holds her BHS AI and has trained all levels of students. Sue has most importantly trained her daughters into international dressage and event riders.

“The riding lessons they offer are second to none. Each lesson is tailored to the individual rider’s skill level and goals, ensuring a personalised and effective learning experience. The instructors are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and encouraging, making every lesson enjoyable and productive.”

Katie Wrennall Eventing

Katie is a very successful 21-year-old event rider. She has always been a natural jumper, winning countless classes in the BSPS WHPs and qualifying for the RIHS and Burghley by age 14. She produced and campaigned a young event pony to compete at International 2* level. She has also produced her young horse Chatoon S from a 5 year old to a confident 10 year old 3* horse, finishing 15th in the Young Rider final selection trial at Bicton 2024. She trains with 5* event rider Kylie Roddy and Katie aims to complete a 4* in the next year. Katie has produced close friends and liveries young horses and has recently started a few of their jump careers, showing them the ropes at their first showjumping and eventing competitions. She regularly gives compelling and informative jump lessons to our students who have qualified for many eventing championship finals this year.

Olivia Wrennall Dressage
