Sue has been riding since birth; she has broken and schooled horses and ponies and helped her younger friends with their own ponies from her early teens. She transformed Jennings Farm from her father’s dairy farm to a Livery yard aged just 18.

Accolades

Susan has competed successfully in Novice Level eventing, Newcomers, Foxhunters, Small Open Showjumping, and national Elementary Dressage. She holds her BHS AI and has trained students of all capabilities. Sue has trained her daughters to be international dressage and event riders.

Katie Wrennall Eventing

Katie is a very successful 22-year-old event rider. She has always been a natural jumper, winning countless classes in the BSPS WHPs and qualifying for the RIHS and Burghley by age 14. She produced and campaigned a young event pony to compete at International 2* level. She has also trained her young horse Chatoon S from a 5-year-old to a confident 12-year-old 3* horse, winning team gold and individual bronze at the 3* Cup Europeans in 2025. She trains with 5* event rider Kylie Roddy, and Katie aims to complete a 4* in the next year. Katie has produced close friends and liveries’ young horses, showing them the ropes at their first showjumping and eventing competitions. She regularly gives compelling, informative jump lessons to her students who have qualified for many eventing championship finals.
